The collection began with artist Jessica Hiemstra’s story of an unlikely friendship between Eric the Hare and Eloise the Fox. Inspired by old Scandinavian folktales, holiday magic, and the beauty of the natural world, their story grew into a cast of charming characters who seem to have wandered out of a storybook and into our homes.
Eric is a distinguished hare, often seen with his monocle and mustache. Eloise is a stylish fox with an artful spirit and a gaze that suggests she knows a secret. Their friends are just as memorable: Frankie the Stag, Margie the Doe, Louie the Mouse, Emerson the Pheasant, and Beatrice the Bear each bring their own personality to the gathering.
