Demijohn bottles were carried by European villagers to their local vineyards to draw wine directly from the cask. These bootles have been stripped of the traditional wicker covering from the glass to reveal a clear bottle underneath. To create the finished look they are then sand-blasted to give you a half-frosted finish. Perfect with a single stem or a group of flowers. The piece would also look lovely displayed on its own.
