Dear Old Home – Nordic Houses with Charm book opens the doors to beautiful Finnish homes where the past and future intertwine. The homes range from a rose-hued log countryside house to a spacious loft-style home by the sea, an Art Nouveau villa, an old village school, a former courtyard storehouse and a world heritage site. The homeowners have a soft spot for the ambience of period houses, which doesn’t have to mean compromising on today’s comforts.

Timeworn textures are celebrated, as the essentials are updated to modern standards. The resulting delicate, layered mood is finessed with the owners’ personal touches. Frida Steiner is a photographer, interior designer and stylist, who loves to capture beautiful homes. This interior design book is a window to characterful Nordic interiors and old houses which all have their own stories to tell.

We ship all items from our location in Spring City, PA with the exception of a very few that have noted "Shipping by Vendor" in the description.

We ship to all 48 contiguous U.S. states, as well as Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and the United Kingdom. You should receive an email with your tracking information on the day your order is processed.  

Orders are processed Monday - Friday with the exception of holidays. 

We charge a flat rate of $9.95 for all orders unless the order is over $150.00 in which case shipping is free. (With the exception of Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and the United Kingdom.)
